Aha, now sorted, two things, I think a nut (on the pump) had loosened slightly, checked them all again today, and I had underestimated how much effort it would take to pump the required pressure. I now know it takes 300 - 320 pumps (counting every up stroke as one pump, and every down stroke as one ...

Roger how big do you drill the holes, eg: drill bit size, couple of mm, etc? and what do you use to block one hole?
Not sure I want to block off one hole as that reduces shot count by one.
