Re: S510

Ive had 7 secondhand AA's over the last 4 years and the lowest power Ive had was 10.9 so I wouldn't worry
There all simple to work on and tweak, I have a 510 and its a cracking bit of kit, great choice !

Re: S400 firing cycle tuning ?

I have tinkered with this and its a juggling act and time consuming as Im no expert, I found removing the port adjuster gave me the options of lighter weights and quicker valveing. I found a lighter hammer helps a lot, along with a shorter - stiffer spring, on my 510 I also put more preload on the v...

Re: s410 regulator

Ive tried two regs so far and im no rifle tuner, infact Id never taken a rifle apart before ! First I opted for a Lane reg in my s400, think it was around £80. The squeaky bum bit was drilling the vent hole in air cylinder, but TBH its straight forward and if you follow the instructions (which are e...

Re: Huma s4"" reg DIY

Great result mate, agreed their simple to fit, did you use the white collar ? After my low power issue Alatros suggested I remove it, then it went well over power. Im just waiting for some orings to turn up and Ill see how we go from there

Well done

That sounds good mate, simple install aren't they

Re: Huma s4"" reg DIY

Yes anti tampers are removed to fit reg and service rifle, once I get this sorted Ill post results.

Interested in the huma as Ive heard good things, the alatros is a project in hand and we will see.

Cant see it bettering the lane reg in my s400 tbh

Re: Huma s4"" reg DIY

Without sounding extreme I'm halfway through fitting an Alatros to my 510, real simple to do obviously but I had issues with real low power. It was under 9ftlbs I contacted alatros who did mail back about taking the sleeve out as some AA's are different ? Anyway took that out and had 14ftlbs And sin...
