TX200SR dissassembly

Hi all I'm looking for information on disassembling a TX200SR. I already have a TX200 Mk 3 and could metaphorically have that apart blindfolded, but I'm struggling to find any information on taking an SR apart. I know they are two different beasts which is why I'm trying to find this information out...

Re: CCL gunstock conditioning oil

The TX has been say in the cabinet drying for the last week or so, but now it looks great! If I can work out getting photos up, I took a couple at the range tonight that show how well the grain and colours have come out (in my opinion).

Re: CCL gunstock conditioning oil

That's three coats on and I'm definitely starting to see the difference now. The oil is much easier to use than I was expecting too which is good!

Re: CCL gunstock conditioning oil

The first coat has gone on today. Two drops in the palm of the hands, applied as per the instructions. It doesn't look any different just yet, but I think the wood definitely feels smoother. Even though it already feels dry, I'll be patient and the second coat will be going on tomorrow as the instru...

Re: non cocking the gun not me

Both of my TXs, bought two and a half years apart, had a lot of grease in the trigger units. No swarf though! Still, nothing that a quick strip, clean, polish and light lubing didn't fix nicely.

Re: CCL gunstock conditioning oil

That's a relief, thanks! I read up a lot about oiling stocks and the CCL product stood out as being touted as the most user friendly and not giving a high gloss finish. I'll stick some before and after pictures up if anyone is interested once I get round to the job on my next stint of time off.

Re: Hawke Airmax 30

I've got the 6-24 version and it is my favourite scope I've owned so far. It hasn't lost zero once in the two or so years its been on a TX with Sportsmatch mounts. I love the AMX reticule too and the glass is great to my eyes. In fact its such a good scope I wanted a second one for a recent addition...

CCL gunstock conditioning oil

Bit of a random question. I've received a bottle of CCL Gunstock Conditioning Oil that I'm planning to use on the new walnut TX stock soon, but what should this oil look like? The bottle I have is an opaque light brown liquid; is this right, I was expecting it to look clear? I'm nervous enough about...

Re: Cleaning regularity

I picked up the Napper airgun cleaning kit as for me it covers everything. I've used the pull through kit on all of my rifles when I bought them to clear out any crud from the factory, but the barrels have never been cleaned again since as in my opinion they just don't need it. The pre treated clean...
