Re: Getting an EV2 repaired tuned etc
If it's dumped air through the breach / loading-port then either the main firing-valve has failed or the reservoir pressure was low & the hammerspring tension was enough to open the firing-valve :? Ev's actions are easy to dismantle but reg's need some speciallist tooling to setup... I miss my mk1 E...

How old is your S310? 15+ years?

Re: pellet lube
my personal experience with (pellet) lube is that it attracts dust & moisture - especially at a wet shoot  even tried various ptfe / teflon compounds but its all 'snake-oil' I used to wash & dry pellets as theres always a lot of lead dust & swarf on them but stopped using 'lube' ~15 yea...

Re: Air Arms EV2
I had a mk1 Ev2, wonderfull rifle and I should have kept it  they were an evolution of the earlier ProTarget / RN10 rifle so a sorted platform but had teething-troubles (usually regs, see a theme here??) there was rumor about them having the CZ barrel as fitted to the S200 BUT if this was true...

Re: Tx200
just to contribute, my .177" mk1 tx200 I use 25 yard crosshair 'zero' and use 1" low sportsmatch mounts holding a Burris Fullfield2 (3-9/40) riflescope with their 'ballistic' plex reticle
but I like Burris
