Re: Breech seals
Yes I agree the barrel is on the slim side to fully float but on my S510TC the shroud does help in that respect, plus I've gone the same way as Roger5 and kept the band just opening it up to allow the barrel to float but still giving it protection from knocks.

Re: Breech seals
Cheers Alan, I was thinking of using my brass cleaning rods in a similar fashion, though wooden dowel sounds better. This all came about while trying to track down a POI shift, I took the barrel band off to float the barrel and that cured it, except that without the band the barrel points slightly d...

Breech seals
Hi all
Has anyone come up with an easy way to replace breech seals in the S410/510 series
I ended up removing the barrel but that in itself caused problems, I went through 6 external barrel seals as they were getting damaged when re-inserting the barrel.

Re: S510TC replacement stock
Thanks just Craig Yes I am about to give up as well. Did you have any issues with poi shifting on yours, I find with mine I can use it all morning at the range and it's fine, but if I come back to it after a break the poi has shifted around 50mm higher, I have managed to stop it doing this by removi...

Re: Favour

I might enquire with custom stocks again as they dont do one for the TC though I might be able to get a stock that needs inleting then try and find someone that can do it.

Not a lot of difference, just measured the TC and its 49mm.
Which stock is it that you have.

Hi all I have a S510TC and would like a walnut stock for it instead of the standard Superlight one. I wonder if one of you kind fellows would be good enough to measure the width of a standard S510 stock at the forend. As no one seems to make a replacement stock specifically for the TC I am wondering...

This is what I used on my Vulcan that was fitted with a rail, around £23 if I remember correctly.

Hi Geordie
I am looking for a new stock for my Air Arms S510 TC (twin cylinder) along the lines of the Ultimate sporter with adjustable cheek and butt if you are active again.
