Re: S510 Wont "fire"

Called AirArms spoke to a really helpful chappy who took details of the RFD the rifle is at etc and then called me back 5 mins later saying he was shipping parts direct to RFD and had explained fully what was wrong and what was required to fix :D

Great Service

S510 Wont "fire"

Had a strange issue with my new S510 (2 weeks old). Today at the club range was plinking away, probably onto the 8th or so magazine when the gun simply stopped discharging. After realisation of what was going on hit me, I removed the magazine as I reckoned I had at least 2 if possibly 3 pellets in t...

Re: Power Curves & the Sweet Spot

Hi, Thanks. Yes been reading that thread and fully understand the issue. The problem is that the scope height is not really a fixed value but varies with the zero range and the angle of the barrel WRT the scope sightline. A good compromise is to say take 1.5mm from your measured scope height figure...

Re: 510 filler

My Anniversary S510 was a total pain to remove the Filler after a fill. As others said cured with a dab of silicone lubricant on the O rings .. they where completely dry when new

Re: Power Curves & the Sweet Spot

Great Article ... TY for sharing With respect to the Scope height Scope height you will need to measure and is centre line of barrel to centre line of scope and is 1.6 inches on my .22. Zero range is obvious really and in my this case 25 yards. Ballistic Coefficient it taken from Chairgun's tables o...

Re: Chairgun

Another appraoch is ordinary trigonometry. Example: suppose you can actually measure accurately the axis of the scope (sight line) with the axis of the barrel. (Even with a breakbarrel and some barrel droop these assumptions hold.) And assume the drop of the pellet to the first zero point is negleg...
