Re: Increased Power = Increased Accuracy?
could be as simple as pellet choice. what would have seamed good at 10m at 5.5fpe is now not acceptable at 11fpe. the harmonics of the barrel will have changed, plus pellet speed. try cleaning the barrel and test again. if you use a benchrest it will remove yourself from the equation. mpr at 12fpe i...

Re: How long can air cylinder remain charged
i would not leave one at full pressure. although it has been designed to work at that pressure, with a built in factor of safety, it is still in a higher stress state than if it were left at half pressure.

Re: Close range pellet accuracy
by what you have described it appears to be what is described as cross over. if your pellet goes to the left at close range, try to confirm by pushing the range beyond your zero. if the pellet goes to the right you have crossover. have you considered your trigger technique? follow through on the sco...

Penetration is much better than with the lead pellets I was using and as a result I had to add a piece of steel plate behind the .625 plywood back for my targets to sight in the rifle. The ste...

Re: Lead free
I tried various "green" pellets years ago and didn't find anything that would group at more than 15 yards. thanks for the info Tim. All he hunting, no pun intended, on the i/net for video seems to confirm your findings. the barrels we use are designed for lead. the alternatives are all of a harder ...
