Re: TX200 "Bear Trap" not locking/working!

Nice easy fix then!
That's the beauty of AA underlevers, simple to work on, there just isn't much to go wrong.
Still keep hold of that lever though.
Happy shooting.

Re: TX200 "Bear Trap" not locking/working!

That went too soon!
The lever on the right side of the rifle is where I reckon the problem will lie. Fpoole will be the man to tell you exactly.

Re: TX200 "Bear Trap" not locking/working!

It's got to be something really simple. If the notches in the comp tube are ok it means the the bit that engages in the notches is worn, the spring behind it is worn or the ABT lever needs oiling.

Re: Prosport piston

It may have a washer inside the piston, as above, try brake cleaner, use one of those extending magnetic wands down the side of the latchrod, you can then gently wiggle any washers out with a circular movement.

Re: Prosport cocking lever

It can be adjusted but it means a bit of wood removal and packing on the stock. Unless it's rubbing badly I wouldn't bother.

Re: You can call me suspicious or paranoid

I agree with you Brian, there just doesn't seem to be any sense in it but it would be a good time for Westminster to slide some crap past us. You just can't trust those slimy gits.
