Re: Best 30mm scope mounts for a AA510 extra

I too have both, scope dependent. Both are extremely well made and do the job perfectly. However, in most cases I prefer the single strap BKL 300, because they place the scope 3mm (24mm from bottom clamp to inside lowest part of the mount) taller than the Sportsmatch HT036 high dual strap versions (...

Re: Cz 200 basic questions

The standard butt is mounted with 2x screws. The adhesive is minimal and the rubber pad can usually be peeled off. Replacement adjustable item – alloy plates with rubber pad – is good but will require filing down for good aesthetics, plus new holes will need to be drilled and countersunk if you want...

Re: S200 quick fill and reg advice.

To follow up, now that I've had a coffee and a sitting, the cover hitting the moderator with the increased length occurred with the original slip-over-and-grub-screw fixed moderator (see poor image below). This moderator has since been binned mainly because pellet clipping was frequent. The 1/2in mo...

Re: S200 quick fill and reg advice.

If I've confused or annoyed anyone then I apologise. It's just that when I fitted the Huma external regulator, the increase in cylinder length meant removing the T-bar cover was a painful process, which involved the top of the cover catching the original moderator (edited). With removal of some of t...

Re: S200 quick fill and reg advice.

Hello. I have S200 Mk3 177 and have fitted the Huma external unit (very easy). This is arguably the best mod by far to what is already a brilliant rifle. With the reg in place and a slip-on (grub screw fixed) moderator mount, the T-bar valve cover does catch the moderator mount. I ground off 3-4mm f...

Re: Just when you think... with image in the reply, oops

Thankfully, Rog, the hammer collection wasn't required. Now the scope is lined up true in the mounts I've got to remove a fraction of the hub for the single pellet to spring open cleanly. Patience of a mead soaked saint...

Re: Just when you think... with image in the reply, oops

Jobbed Tnail.jpg The thought of turning upside down did cross my mind for all of two seconds. I then went and looked at the wine rack. As was said, I got the hacksaw and files out. The slot was perfect for the Rowan single pellet loader but Fat Thumbed Freddy here couldn't get a good enough grip on...
