S200 Mk3 magazine choice
OK, wise and worldly ones, who has or had experience with S200 .177 magazine systems, in the sense which is best: Rowan Engineering item or genuine Air Arms unit? I know the AA system is labelled as self-rotating when cocked, and that Rowan's is manual rotation and £10 cheaper, but can anyone relate...

S200... Affordable, adaptable and amazingly accurate. Bisley adjustable butt pad makes a good rifle even better. Also fitted one last week to a friend's but added two brass bushes and longer mounting screws for additional length – he's a six-footer with arms of a gibbon.

Hi Flappa30. Good to see you're sorted Hamster-wise. I'm in the same boat... Did you order yours direct from AA, or someone else? Please name and the price paid, if you wouldn't mind.
Cheers

Re: Tackle on display
There's no doubting he has a good mind with full-on ideas, it's the execution that is painful. Slap-hazard, PP presenting, restricted application etc. But I get where you're coming from. Hopefully, folk will get that Clarkson isn't the opinionated nob he comes across as, but in fact a bright spark w...

Re: Tackle on display
I like motorcycles. All sorts. Vespa to MotoGP. And gardening, too. Aircraft get my attention but I hate flying, says the man who has-been to Japan and Oz four times, USA I've lost count, and flown to just about every EU country. Still I'd rather fly than watch the new Top Gear show...

Tackle on display
So how does one get to display his/her tackle on their posts? I can't find anything in profile settings to accomplish this. Am I Barking up the wrong tree?

Re: Impartial views part 2
Of the rifles in the cupboard. My S200 Mk3 is the first one to be grabbed if a woodster drops into the garden. But then I became very intimate with it from the start... only because from new it didn't have the accuracy I was led to believe. After various sizes and makes of .177 pellets still no joy....

Re: Ultimate glitch
Contacted the RFD who supplied the Ultimate. The mag has to go back to the AA distributor. Emailed the distributor who replied instantly to say the suspect mag has to be returned to them via the RFD for invoicing reasons. Gotta haul butt to RFD to drop off the mag... at some point.

Re: 510 filler
Oh so easy. Just remember to ask if any mechanical seals are needed between fitting and coupling. If answer is yes buy them, they're pennies. As for greasing, as mentioned, red (silicone) rubber grease is thick stuff and needs only a finger dab around the inlet valve O-rings. This alone makes such a...
