Re: .177 400 carbine string
Knowing nowt about PCP's may I ask the following... Do regulators have a life span and if so is it typically measured in shots or just chronological age and typically what is said lifespan prior refurbishment / replacement ? I assume a bit of a a "how long is a piece of string" type quest...

Re: .177 400 carbine string
I am using a Lancet reg by Robert Lane, its a fantastically engineered little thing... I fitted mine myself, but if you don't want to do that there is XTX air, The Rat works, Airmasters 88, Ben Taylor and Son ect.... Expect to pay £200+ to have one supplied and fitted.. Because I am tight and like t...

Re: .177 400 carbine string
Looking at the string, from say, just before shot 30 to shot 60 you were getting a 10fps total spread. So that's around 35 ish shots all within 10 fps. With the reg fitted you could have the same 10 fps spread lasting around 80+ shots.. Sorting and weighing the pellets will bring this down to sub 5 ...

Re: Pellet choice
Due to it being windy where I shoot I recently changed from jsb exact 8.4g to jsb exact heavy 10.3g and through my s400 they are absolutely fantastic.... They extra holdover was well worth the downrange accuracy for me..

Re: s400 trigger help
Sorted it.. Took the plate off to see what was happening with the sears in motion.. I was taking up too much of the top sear with the first stage, this was why I was having to use so much of the adjusting spring preload to stop the sears binding as they were edge to edge by the time the second stage...

s400 trigger help
When you pull the trigger through its first stage and release it, is it supposed to go floppy or is it supposed to reset the first stage? I have polished up and fitted crinkle washers a while ago but this is something that has been bugging me especially when trying to set the trigger light.. Mine ha...

Re: Ev2 won't hold pressure
I am not familiar with the ev2 but if it lost all its air "after" taking a shot it would suggest the firing valve isn't seated properly due to ingress of crap or is f****ed?? Do you have any pictures? where is the gauge located? Edit; I have just looked at a parts diagram...... It could b...

Re: Some HFT 500 info.
Good job, at least now you can be more confident with your setup, the only down side is....... You will now have to take the blame when you miss To find the sweet spot I leave the rifle connected to the bottle with the fill valve shut off, without bleeding obviously... I find it much more accurate t...
