According to the Air Arms brochure, in the MPR 10m Precision, 'the firing valve is designed to be self-regulating'. But I believe the S400, on which the rifle is based, is non-regulated. So I'm not sure how they achieve this. It might be reasonable to assume that the 'regulation' is only effective ...

depending on the inlet / filler valve they're easily serviced - some like the earlier 'foster' type are remove & replace as their seal is almost part of the plunger whereas the later types are just 'o' rings

Cold everything? Seriously though, I use 4.51 pellets in cold weather and 4.53’s in hot conditions (zero, trajectory & power check regularly also) With thinner barrels like S400’s I didn’t find such sensitivity but thicker barrels like the Mpr I’d noticed larger pellets flying slower and dropping qu...
