Rat disappeared!
Morning all, bit of an odd and slightly distasteful subject here but I am stumped! So I have chicken and occasionally I'd get the odd rat show up, these get quickly dealt with and nothing for a month or so. Anyway the critters came back but I knew I had one somewhere as there were signs in the green...

Bisley Pest Control
Hi, has anyone used Bisley Pest Control pellets on pigeons before? I have been using H&H Barracuda Hunters with good effect, except from the pellet passing straight through the birds head leaving them flapping for a bit, dissected and definitely was a good head shot. Anyway tried the Bisley pell...

Re: Woodies flew away again!
Never tried a spinal shot, I am usually waiting for the bird to turn side on for a heart/lung kill. I haven't taking a front on shot unless head as I have heard that it's like body armor where the crop and breast bone is. I will look into the spinal shot, perhaps I should look around better!

Woodies flew away again!
Hi I'm fairly new to hunting but not to shooting. Currently I have an AA TX200HC .177, every second I get I practice. Anyway the reason for me having a air rifle was for small game and currently I am going for woodies, I have had a good amount so far with good clean kills mainly heart/lung but a goo...

Focus with gun lamp.
Hi, I have had a bit of bother with rats in my garden, perhaps it's my veg or the allotments or maybe it's nextdoor but one with her 50 Guinea pigs! Anyway I have been using poison and traps to start but now it's time for the big boy to come out! I have picked a few off with clean headshots but now ...

TX200HC shooting positions??
Evening all. I am in need of some guidance, I have the TX200HC with a silencer, I knew it was a heavy beast before I bought her but I am now struggling to maintain a good steady aim. I have zeroed it (well i think I have, probably needs a little adjusting) at 30 yards but when i take a kneeling posi...

Re: AirArms ProSport 177
Thank you all for the information so far. Tim I will take on the information about the scope, could save myself a pretty penny. I think I will be going for beech, I do like the look of walnut stocks but as you mentioned beech seems like a good choice. The TX was my first choice and then decide to go...
