Free floating Barrel ?
I see a lot of posts re "Free floating Barrel " however the engineer in me just does not get it .. thin barrel only supported by its "end" ie 7 to 10 mm of thread in a block - versus a fixed pivot point at the end of a sturdy air cylinder ?

Well I've stripped the trigger down tonight and can confirm the top sear is broken in half at the pivot hole. I messaged Air Arms last night and they have asked me to have a look at the sears so I've messaged them again tonight with pictures so I'll keep you posted on their response great news .. q...
