Re: S410 anti tamper removal & service newbie help please

Not necessarily, to be honest I like to back the Power adj screw out so it has no effect, and adjust with the firing valve, the reason I do it like this is I don't like obstructing the airway, you need access to a chrono to do this, the thread that the A/T came out of is the same as the RN191 power...

Re: Regulator

Depends, Is your 410 full length or carbine?. My carbine is around 70 shots per fill, someone else mentioned recently they got 75 from their regged carbine so that seems the norm. Dunno what a full length would give but they do give more than that in standard form. If you're mainly plinking and a bi...

Re: Regulator

Depends, if you look at Rob Lanes site on his AirArms fitting supplement PDF he says he charges a basic £195 or £250 for the full monty Air Arms set up because they're a bit of a bitch to to get running right. Don't know how much others charge. They are DIY if you're confident and capable enough to ...

Re: MPR FT

The standard stripper is pretty long can't see there being a lot of difference changing to a mod depending on the size of it. ..but you'll not know until you try it yourself, everyone's opinion will be different. My standard 400 I use for HFT always felt way too long and "wafty" with an ai...

Re: advice please

You can clean the bolt up, no real need for any lubricant but you'll have to take the action off to get to it proper , it probably won't be the actual bolt it'll be the hammer and the hammer rail that need cleaning/polishing up to smooth it out a bit, no need for any oil or grease on the hammer and ...

Re: Regged Carbine Shot Count.

Just to round this off, the breathe hole weep reappeared. Stripped it down again, filled the groove with JBWeld for a few inches in to clear the reg area. Sanded down beautifully to leave a perfectly smooth tube, Everything back together and no leak, held 190 bar for a few days with no problem. Play...

Re: S200 main spring problem may be?

Do they have a "plastic" firing valve? , my 400 dropped 1.5ftlbs when it's firing valve became ridged, replaced and went straight back up.

Re: Regged Carbine Shot Count.

Spoken to Air Arms, as far as they are concerned there should be no groove in the cylinder, if I send it off to them they will examine/test it. Also spoken to Robert Lane, he's not overly surprised at the state of it, he's has loads of very poorly finished and grooved Air Arms cylinders though proba...

Yep, more than likely it is that and just a coincidence that it's also the acronym for Drawn Over Mandrel with regards to seamless pipe.

I'll contact Air Arms for the definitive answer regarding the groove.
