Re: Care of Beech Stock

After use and in between I give my AGs a nice wipe over with a cotton cloth with some Ballistol oil on.
Very nice for metal and wood stocks too.
Same oil on a cotton patch followed by some dry ones for an occasionally barrel pull-through too.

Re: Cz 200 basic questions

Hi,

most probably the butt pad at the laminated stock is just screwed on too as on all the other models.

Re: S200 cylinder strip.

Stupid question I know but - are you sure the cylinder is empty, all the pressure gone? The brackets of your vice shouldn't be to close to the threads you're going to open. You may warm up the tube near the threads with a heat gun so the end part bearing the threads will heat up consequently with li...

Re: Cz 200 basic questions

OK - I know it's not laminate but why not get the Green, cheek riser and adjustable butt pad included already. m Install a quick fill so no more need to take the cylinder out every time for filling. You may check my tuning report - though in German a lot of pictures - hopefully helpful. m Can't comm...

Re: S200 barrel

It will have to bite into the rifling as you push it home. Have you poked the pellet back out of the breech with a cleaning rod to inspect it for marks? Yes - try this. And push some pellets completely through too to check them carefully 'cause there is a risk of a bur at the edge of the transfer p...

Re: S200 Trigger. Help it's driving me madder.

Until replacing any trigger parts you may try some tuning yourself. I did polish - and this means polish not grinding - the sears on the contacting surfaces awa the top of stage-1 and -2 set screws. Polished the side faces, pins and pin-bores too. Further shimmed lateral play with some cut-outs of f...

Re: Piston rod not latching.

...What I did: I ... polished ... and trigger... That sounds like you disassembled and reassembled the trigger. Check trigger weight (screw) - maybe too light. Or stage 1 and/or stage 2 scews set not properly. Did you pull the trigger after installation before trying to cock? May be it's still set....

My mother swore on hot lime-tree blossom tea with honey and some aspirin.
It helps to sweat it out.
