Re: setting up a scope/shimming.
they state zero at 15 yards, then adjust the scope at your desired zero range, if it's out by a fair bit, then shim the scope,to high the front mount, to low the rear mount.i've never bothered previously.,when all sighted in put your turret's to zero.

setting up a scope/shimming.
this is in my mamba pro 2 5-30x50 manual... SHIMMING. ideally your scope should be zeroed to your rifle as near to the middle of it's adjustment range as possible, on some rifles to achieve this it is necessary to 'shim' the lower cradle of the rear (or front)mount using a thin sliver of silver foil...

pellet lube
do you bother using a pellet lube,or do you just use the pellet's straight out of the tin.i've used LT1 pellet lube & daystate rangefinder in the past.is there a benefit in using either.

Re: maybe a silly question/found 4 washers after loading bolt change
I take it they are too large to have come with the Rowan handle? Do you have scope mounts or other fittings with M4 bolts? mystery solved, the 4 washers were off a pair of sports match mounts,i ordered high sports match mounts & they were on them.so i presume they were also on the medium mount's. :D
