Re: ADVICE please.

Don't write any of those rifles off on your list. They will all perform well. Its your choice in the end, but there are loads of YouTube videos on all of your choices showing just how well they shoot. I have put a few links on for you to see. One is of the Walther R8 in .22, which was grouping all e...

Re: How and when do you clean the barrell

Has anyone used those cleaning pellets that you can fire though the barrel. I haven't, but wondered if anyone has tried them, and if so is one shot good enough?

Re: Air Arms S200 CZ Mk1 with Altaros Regulator

I took my Air Arms S200 CZ .22 to the Woodend Farm Airgun Complex today to test it for the first time on the range since fitting my new Altaros regulator. After slightly winding down the power using the venturi screw on the transfer port, I am now getting a shot variation of no more than 4 feet per ...

Re: Whistle when filling

This happens with my Webley LiteW8, and I worked out that its down to filling it too quickly. When it starts to whistle, back off on the air tank valve and slowly turn it up again. You will find that it may take a couple of back offs and slow turn up of the air pressure, but it will then stop whistl...

Re: S200 air cylinder question.

You can buy the HUMA regulator from XTX Air, although you would have to fit it yourself at the moment because the man in charge is having time off to do development projects, but this is the easiest regulator fit on the market. You would just have to play with the hammer spring adjustment and transf...

Re: Bow/ crossbow hunting

It all falls back onto the ability of the shooter. It seems crazy that you need an FAC for an air rifle shooting over 12FT/LB. I wouldn't do it myself, as I have no experience in the use of the bow, but the crossbow is still used by some special forces units around the World, because of how quiet th...

Quiet Shooting

Over the past month I have been busy tuning up two of my rifles, which is now complete. Unfortunately my back garden is overlooked on three sides, and shooting outdoors would draw too much attention. I use the Caldwell Chronograph to assess my rifles legality, and if I do shoot outdoors its normally...

Re: FX-impact sub 12 fpe for uk..,comimg

Its definitely a personal thing when it comes to buying a rifle. Looks are one of the key reasons, but as far as a rifle, it ticks lots of boxes and is a great tool if you look at it that way. I can't think of any other rifle that could fire 700 shots in one charge. Fredrik Axelsson has become a leg...

Re: Setting air arms s400 power

I have found that its not just the weight of the pellet, but how the pellet fits the barrel. A loose, or tight fit will also effect the end result. Best pellets for the air arms and Webley that I shoot have been Air Arms diablo Field 16 grain 5.52 head - JSB Exact Jumbo 15.89 grain and Daystate Rang...

Re: Air Arms S200 CZ Mk1 with Altaros Regulator

Thanks Raj, I thought I would share my experience, as the Altaros doesn't get much detail, apart from their main website. I was getting to the point of thinking, had I bought the right regulator, but kept at it. I am very happy that it all worked out, and hope that it wouldn't put anyone off. Its al...
