Killzone has nothing to do with the target - it is the area in which your bullet when fired can kill, and that could be a considerable distance beyond the target

Re: FAC backstop.

you always have to take into consideration the "killzone" and if you feel that the shot isn't safe go with your gut and don't take it. I have seen bullets do some strange things after leaving their intended target (I may be new to air rifles but I have over 45 years of rim fire and full bo...

Re: best laid plans

I live on a plot in a very rural area, shooting over our own land, the only neighbor on the side of the house I am shooting on is the retired farmer who now rents out his land (and I don't shot on a line towards their house which is around 100 yards away). I have already discussed shoot rabbits on o...

This evening at dusk, I walk through the lounge look out of the one window to admire the sunset over the sea, and there is a rabbit 28 -30 yard...

Re: Recce and shooting points

No problem RR - I have been offered the change to take rabbits on a friends farm now. Slightly different topic I was at the shooting club on Sunday at 45 yards all shots (40 in total) in the black (black is about 3") and some groupings under 2" all shot off the elbows with no support for t...

First Rabbit

For the first time in many years I have started hunting, only really interested in rabbits as they are causing problems in our paddock, and possibly on some friends land as they have rabbit issues as well. So one x "new" 2nd hand TX200 purchased (£225, Walnut Stock) zeroed at the range (I'...
