Re: Removed the brass firing pot.
It is my understanding that the part you have removed acts as a sort of plenum chamber giving some restriction to the flow to the firing valve at the higher pressure end of the scale. This also fits in with the multi variable balance of parts and adjustments in this remarkably successful non-regula...

Air Arms barrel band.
What's the best way to ensure the barrels perfectly aligned when tightening up the figure of 8 barrel clamp?

Re: Galahad power tuning
Thanks richie Id like to say ill keep note of where the screw starts but im generally useless at that.... Never fear, i have a trusty, yet to be shot, chrono at hand and im not afraid to use it! In all seriousness though thanks again Chris. Let us all know how you got on. I'm not sure what regulato...

Re: Galahad power tuning
Yes it should increase velocity a little, worth a try but remember how far you unscrewed it out as a baseline.
The regulator is the best way to boost it a little and always remembering to chrono so you're under 12 ft/lb.

Re: Galahad .22 Leaking air from rear of mag when fired
Thanks for the info regarding the breech seal . I watched a few vids on youtube about how to install them . Tried it myself as there were a pack of small seals that I took for breech seals with size etc . Bit fiddly to fit but certainly did the trick . Thanks again They're a devil to fit but soon g...

Re: Floating or clamped, pro's and con's
aye up Rich, i think floating the cylinder on 400/410 is an absolute must, not sure about tdr, as you say, theres not a lot of contact on them. you could try the £5 note test from the stock screw to the end of the stock though, as the slightest contact will affect accuracy. dave brayford puts a pla...

Re: Floating or clamped, pro's and con's
Could you please send me some pics I'm interested to test this. Although I do use my mpr mainly and that has a very little contact between the stock and cylinder anyway. I also use my S400f .177 carbine which does need some attention to accuracy so I'll definitely consider floating the cylinder on t...

Re: Floating or clamped, pro's and con's
I've read it and they do float the cylinder sometimes by adding those 2 black pieces of thick tape found inside some stocks. It's food for thought but I still think floating the barrel is better. Never floated both barrel and cylinder yet though but will give it a try. As for increasing the sweet s...
