Re: Air Arms S400F Carbine .177

Welcome Keith. Good writeup - you can stay 👍

Richard, brassware loose on barrel but stuck in block may also be leaky and lose some power. If you use heat remember the o rings under there - you’re only supposed to blow the bloody doors off

Re: Retro Fit Trigger

Not even a safety feature either in my opinion. “Target” air weapons never have them anyway. Trading up to a Rowan adjustable is a better spend. Yes easy job. Take off the trigger side plate as in first video below and drop in a new trigger then follow the guide in my second video below to get to a ...

Re: Air Arms S400F Carbine .177

Maybe it has slipped back and out of position leaving a gap. Removing and refitting the brassware may do it. Heat and loctite required.

Re: Have I got anti tamper ?

They look like the A/T plugs. If new ones have been fitted you’ll see them under the action if you take it out the stock.
Power screw should be black steel m3 pointed hex-socket grub screw (1.5mm allen key)

Re: Tx 200 SR mk2

Hi Freddie, O-rings greased or dry? 45 degrees test with or without scope? Guessing a heavy scope will drop more at 45deg but slides less in use on the flat due to inertia. The FWB 600s I use seems to run on plain steel rods and stops just before hitting the backstop, so I assume the same should app...

Re: Air Arms S400f trigger.

I have suggested putting the guard back and doing the reset by pseudo-cocking the top sear . I don’t see how the below setup can have a first stage, but he’s also going to swap triggers with another AA gun https://i1146.photobucket.com/albums/o533/TenMetrePeter/84C803EA-A628-480A-B948-A304E446EE47_z...
