Re: S400 carbine new owner
Hi, thanks for the info. How will these mounts help ? the front mount needs to move further back towards the rear, but it's near the edge of the opening to the loading breech ? Mat It really depends on how much further back, single strap mounts are thinner so don't take up as much space on the scop...

Re: S400 carbine new owner
You will probably have to use single strap mounts, have a look at BKL257H. http://www.deben.com If these don't do the job for you, you might be looking for a different scope, I have an MTC Mambalite on mine and it's ok. Rog

Exactly the same where I am in Middlesex, I haven't seen a cony in at least 2 months, I think it's RHD. Rog

Re: Falcon Menace
I was tempted by the x18 at £200. Most of my scopes are vortex and they are faultless. BBF Which ones, Diamondback HP side focus, see they only weigh 510gm as opposed to 750gm on the menace. And how close will they focus. And by the way, I wouldn't say that the B20 Reticle is all that fine either, ...

Re: Falcon Menace
There is nothing bad about the glass, it's nice and clear, it's just that it is quite a heavy piece of kit, if I used a bipod more it would probably suit me fine, but for my kind of shooting ie in woods it's not really needed. Rog

Re: Falcon Menace
I am very interested in the Falcon 4x14x44 FFP. I noted that a few members on here have them. Which reticle would you recommend? And are you still impressed? I have the B20 IR Reticule on my one, to be honest I used it for a while but took it off and put my Mambalite back on, it's quite a big old l...

Re: not a £1000 bullpup interesting .
They seem to get quite a lot of stick on the Bullpup forum. Don't think I will be rushing to buy one, shame, they look ok, and the price is good, but if they ain't accurate, they ain't no good to anyone. Rog
