Re: Birds of prey
Saw Harrier on a very bright mid afternoon.
Merlin was just as the light started to go.
I see a pair of peregrines nearly everyday as they nest where I work , fantastic , but seeing them so often slightly deminishes their uniqueness.

Birds of prey
Had 2 good sightings of rare birds for our area whilst out looking for rabbits.
A male Harrier which unfortunately too far away to say if it was a Hen or Marsh Harrier and a Merlin.
See loads of different birds where I shoot but great to see something a bit special.

Re: S400f .177 classic Best Pellet
Recently whilst carrying out extensive pellet testing shot Exact and Express back to back and found at 55y Express drifted less. Can't fathom out how any different results can be obtained. The difference was not massive and wouldn't turn a hit miss into a hit but wind drift WAS less. Pellet weight i...

Re: Chairgun for steep angle hunting
I since found a feature I didn't know I had.
Press reticle then incline and uses your camera lens to show exact angle of target.
Good for fixed hide poistions shooting up trees but cant see any value when mooching about.

Re: A quick introduction...
Don't you worry about the calibre I have both 17 and 22 and they're equally good.
Test JSB Express and if they group well you're laughing.

Re: Hawke scopes
Got hold of a Falcon M18 for £199 in December. A very impressive scope for the price.
