S200 trigger design

Is it only me or is the S200's trigger a bit 'unsatisfactory'? I know it does the job it is designed for but it's just a bit mean and doesn't sit on the finger as well as a curved blade does. Is there a reasonably priced replacement? I don't want to shell out for a match style adjustable-in-four-dim...

Re: S200/Bisley Butt pad

I fitted one to my S200 and it was a doddle. If I remember correctly the size, top to bottom, was spot on and the width only need to be trimmed by a few millimeters each side. It's a job easily accomplished by a half-competent DIYer. Worth the small amount of nervous sweat lost during the fitting.

Re: The new AA Galahad

Well, it was inevitable that AA would join the bull-pup market eventually; it's the way things are going and I applaud it. However in my opinion (for what that's worth) this one looks like the progeny of a cricket bat that got humped by a Kalashnikov!

Re: .20 s200?

you could argue that you`re losing the benefits of both though? you`d certainly be limiting your choice of pellets! I`d still put forward the argument above, my .22 (S200) does what I need it to do (pest control) & my .177 springer (for target) is so good the internals are now an upgrade for ot...

Re: .20 s200?

I think it's fair to say that, with dozens (hundreds) of pellets available to the British shooter only a few, mainly made in the Czech republic or Germany are worthy choices for hunting. The same manufacturers make .20s!

Printed plastic s200 magazines

An interesting thread on another airgun forum if you're an s200 owner:

The potential for this technology is huge!

Re: .20 s200?

I want to try .20, Stoohundred! While many call 5mm/.20 a compromise caliber I would prefer to call it the 'best of both worlds' caliber. We all know that .177 has the flatter trajectory and .22 has the heavier 'shock' impact, halfway between must have some of the virtues of both. I want say it's li...

Re: .20 s200?

Yes,I see your point. A new o ring would be needed but is the shoulder big enough to support it? There would be a problem if a new o-ring wouldn't seal the breech.

.20 s200?

Has anyone re-barreled their AA s200 for the "middle caliber" yet? As far as I can work it out this would require only a new barrel and pellet tray if single loading and a .177 magazine re-bored to .20 if going multi-shot. O.K; there may be a need for some slight tweaks to the power, but n...

Re: S200 fill valve T fitting

I'm new to AA. In the last month I have acquired a S200 and a S400. Fantastic after all the Crossmans I've had. Problem just came up today. I tried to refill the S200 and had a major air leak. When it was used yesterday I had no problem. As I see it when last used I thought the fill valve was loose...
