Re: S400 multishot magazine Rowans Engineering.

No, you have to rotate it manually.
I don't have a problem with this at all... becomes second nature once you've got used to it.

Re: Where is everyone?

I check in every couple of days and make the odd comment where I feel I can help or add anything of interest, and occasionally ask a question. I don't see AAOC as a chat room.

Re: made my mind up !!!!

Good choice. More reliable than the other options, I think. I find thumbhole stocks quite personal in feel and fit. If you are not absolutely sure you might check you are happy with it before committing. I prefer the Minelli sporter stock especially for easy handling when hunting/pest control... as ...

Re: charging your rifle

I've used pumps for years and not had issues with corrosion. I possibly had a contamination issue where a fill valve leaked slowly a couple of times but then sealed on the next fill. A bottle is preferable but if, like me, there is nowhere nearby to get refills you might need to use a pump regularly...

Re: can't make my mind up.

Have you tried or, at least, handled all your options? How a rifle handles can make a big difference to preference and performance, also suitability for intended use. For example, my personal preference for stocks is Minelli and I can't get on at all with HW thumbhole stocks. I also don't like the T...

Re: Fill pressure for a 510 TDR?

Thanks for the help, Am I right in thinking that @ 250bar fill my 7 litre 300bar bottle is not going to last long? You can, of course, continue with fills to less than 250bar getting progressively fewer shots per fill. Overall you'll get as many shots from the bottle as you would from the unregged ...

Re: AADF 16g v JSB RS 13.43

Hi Rog. I can't offer any info on either as all my testing is on .177. What I would say though, you perhaps could tell us what gun you are using as this is likely to have some bearing on the result. Apart from the typical differences between PCPs and springers there are, I think, a number of factors...

Re: Regulator, are they worth changing

If it's a full length S410 I wouldn't bother. For a carbine, if you want to increase the shot count you might consider an Altaros regulator. They use the existing firing valve and springing, require no changes to the transfer port or hole in the cylinder. I have one on a .177 S510 carbine and get 70...

Re: S410 Carbine .22

You say the adapter fits with no resistance... but it's not leaking? If air is leaking from the adaptor you'll need to replace the O-rings. Is the valve ion the bottle sticking? Are you getting ait coming from the bottle valve when the whip is disconnected?

Re: stock for sale

You might put your location on your profile (isn't it in the rules when selling?).
I wouldn't buy unseen but CV puts that out of the question at present.
