Re: Robert Lane regulator installed in my S410
Hi Jim, No Anti-bounce fitted, just the RL reg, as this classic rifle didn't take much setting up. Coil collapsed, by about 5mm or so, was the hammer one. Did it by heating up to cherry red on the end while holding it with pliers near that end so as not to loose the temper on the spring further down...

Re: Robert Lane regulator installed in my S410
Hi, These are my latest findings of my regged classic in .177 I've not had much chance to properly test this rifle at the farm mostly down to crap weather and the fact that for squirelling (the farmers pet hate) I use my .22 carbine. Anyway weather good on Sunday with zero wind and had lots of free ...

Re: AS S510 fill adapter tech specs
Hi, To quote from my manual (S410) which uses the same T-bar adaptor "The female part (S475) has a 1/8th BSP male thread that screws directly into the hose of your pump or bottle." Your local gun shop should be able to sort out a filling hose for you. I'm sure my hose used to screw straigh...

Re: S400 Barrel Shroud
Although people have sleeved in carbon fibre tube to change the appearance with 12mm I/d and 14mm o/d. The barrel band may need to be changed for a Rowan 14mm one though unless you do it in 2 parts.

Re: s400 mpr convert to multi shot with left hand bolt
Hi, Basically as TenMetrePeter above says but I think he means finding a the early pre anti-tamper (there are 2 types of anti-tamper ones .. two bolts underneath and all bolts underneath) S410 bolt housing which has all six bolts fitted from above. I have this on my oldest s410. It also assumes that...

Re: Newbie question: Anti tamper
Hi, It is not a legal requirement but a voluntary one that the industry introduced to have anti tamper measures in place. It's there to stop people from upping the power of their kit. Downside is that it prevents the owner (the person responsible for ensuring compliance with the law) from maintainin...

Re: cocking handle orientation
Just pull the bolt back, slacken the Allen screw partially, turn bolt anticlockwise a bit and then tighten again. Repeat until satisfactory results are obtained

Re: About to strip my 400
Hi, ...and yes. As it's 10 years old and possibly not been touched before I would change the exhaust valve while you are there. This should give you a flatter power curve and hence more usable shots in the sweet spot. Google 'exhaust valve extrusion' for an explanation from a chap called 'cloverleaf...
