Re: Woodies

Very nice job that man. Pigeon pie all round, I have to say of all game pigeon is the meat I crave most I'll bet you were very chuffed with that bit of shooting and the Maggie must have been the icing on the cake (The magpie I'm particularly jealous of, i've nailed them with shotguns, rimfires and L...

Re: s510 xtra fac accuracy issues

Re: Did you know...

Re: another bloody mess

A fine bloody mess and all ;) one small point, are you sure you're being entirely honest with us? If you are going to claim you shot it you really ought to move the bludgeoning implement out of the picture first (fence posts are very crude you know)

Re: How do you calculate your efficiency?

Personally, I'm happy if I get clean kills at the ranges I hunt at (efficiency is a different matter and is dependent on the parameters you are considering). If I shoot a rabbit at 45/50 yards, the pellet strikes my point of aim and it's a clean kill I would consider that an efficient shot, the same...

Re: .177 vs .22 debate solved by yours truly

Why do I find myself uncontrollably switching between laughing and crying ... rocking in my chair .... with my head in my arms while trying to read this thread It's because, like me, you have come to realise that with a sub 12 air rifle .25 is the only realistic choice of calibre yet few others hav...

Re: Gun stocks

Err! Not quite sure which button to press here, my 12gauge and .410 are beech stocked, the hmr 's dressed in laminate, the r10 wears walnut and the .22lr cz is another that looks pretty in beech. I suppose that makes me 3/5ths beech but it's the r10's walnut stock that gets me dribbling
