Re: Pro sport

If your PS has 4 stock screws it is a MK2 (96mm stroke) Same as the MK3 TX If it has only 2 stock screws it is an earlier (82mm stroke) model -MK1/2 TX spring.

The TX has a 3.8mm transfer port. The LGU is made with a 2.9mm port which tuners open to 3.3 to 3.5mm. Possibly the TX port is to large when short stroked. The SCR is wrong and it creates a harsh firing cycle. I may of course be wrong I sleeved my TX port to 3.2mm and quite like it. It may be better...

Re: TX200. Happy after various attempts

It was mostly trying different combinations of parts. The only re-engineering was sleeving the TP. That was simpler than I expected. The piston has a polyurethane 0-ring which give a slightly shorter stroke (81mm) The spring is from a MK3/ProSport (225mm, 3.0m...

Bit of Air Arms history on YouTube

I stumbled across this video, 'Visiting the Air Arms factory!' Uploaded last week. (Sorry, I can't do direct links)

unfortunately not much about TX200s or SRs. :(
