Re: HFT Kit Check #1 - TX200

I am not into HFT but what an interesting read. Especlially liked the set up descriptions. How did you notice the the turret mount catching. Kevin I could see the turret's where close to the peg, but thought it would be OK. When I was having the accuracy issues I took another shot, got all lined up...

Re: HFT Kit Check #1 - TX200

I really enjoyed spending time reading that BBF Thank you. Always appreciate feedback, especially if its good I've got a few more air arms posts coming next year. An HFT kit check for my girlfriends S400 superlight, and a full strip down report of my Mk1 TX200. I'll post on here when I finish them

HFT Kit Check #1 - TX200

The plan for my blog next year includes doing 'kit checks' at HFT events to show beginners what variety of guns are used. I will hopefully cover everything from budget springers to full on target specials. Part 1 was a bit of a test, and I did it on my TX200 which is my main HFT gun, link below! htt...

Re: pellet restock time

Same issues here. With my new full length action my old stock of Air Arm's Fields suddenly weren't that great. Spent a few hours at an indoor range today and came home with a sleeve of JSB die 54's. They seemed very good in both my TX200 and girlfriends S400. They had potential for 1/2 inch at 45 ya...

DMHS Round 2

Shot the Daystate Midland Hunter Series - Round 2 at Zone HFT on Sunday. As always I used my very lightly modified TX200HC and managed 3rd place in the recoiling class with 49/60 (87.5%). Very challenging course which caught almost everyone out in one way or another. Joint top score of 56 went to sh...

Not sure if you ever got an answer, but try Geoff at liquid steel designs. That looks like one of his to me

Re: Springer weight increase

There are 2 people I can highly recommend who supply kits and re-engineer TX200HCs. Longer TX barrels are more efficient and easier to tune. Dave Price (also known as Wonky Donky) lightens the standard piston to about 175g, adds a longer latch rod to shorten the stroke and shortens the transfer por...

Springer weight increase

I'm sure this is very old news to some people, but worth repeating for beginners like myself. I have a TX200HC which I have started shooting HFT with. After owning it for a few weeks I inevitably got a bit bored of the twangyness and vibrations, and though I might like less recoil. So I bought a dro...

Re: TX200HC HFT

Thank you.
I'll be posting on here a bit more now.
I'm starting a quest to become a 'one gun man' and master the TX200HC
