Re: Air Pistol recommendation

Hi Kwaka, You don't say which method of propulsion you prefer. For starting out with 10m pistol shooting, you basically have 3 options. Single Stroke Pneumatic (SSP) like the Gamo Compact or Weihrauch HW75/HW40, Co2 like the SMK/Kandar CP1 or AFO TAICHI, or Pre-charged Pneumatic (PCP) like the SMK V...

Re: Prosport not sitting flush in its stock

I'm not convinced that AA fully appreciate how miffed some customers are with their springer rifle quality, especially when they extol their quality in the advertising blurb!

Re: Prosport not sitting flush in its stock

I've never heard of "anti-tamper" on the ProSport. Nothing on mine anyway. From what I understand, the anti-tamper is fitted to some, or all, of AA's PCP's.

Re: Prosport not sitting flush in its stock

Sorry to hear of your dilemma, and you're quite entitled to be peeved. You pay good money for the PS, you should get it as it should be. Another example of shoddy AA quality that crops up from time to time. I know it's inconvenient, especially as you've just got a new perm, but if AA don't get to se...

Re: Pellets through the post

Normally buy my bulk pellets from JSR, and they come packed to survive a nuclear holocaust, but perhaps not Parcel Force or the Royal Mail.

Re: TX200HC silencer

Tried the AA moderator on my TX200 HC some years ago (to passify the neighbours) and it made a little difference, but I didn't think it was enough to warrant the £40 outlay, and as GrandadG has said, it defeats the point of a carbine. If you want a relatively quiet AA springer, the ProSport is worth...

Re: Piston rod not latching.

Good morning Kelvin,

I may be talking a load of eyewash, but I seem to recall that while the trigger appears to work "off-rifle", it needs to be re-set before re-assembly.

Re: Piston rod not latching.

Hello Kelvin, I wish I could help. I had the same problem a couple of years ago, but can't for the life of me remember what I did to fix it. I'll do my best to wring out the grey matter and post if I come up with anything. I know it sounds obvious, but If the trigger is functioning OK, presumably it...

Re: right you lot-not you lot, the other members- pony up!

Yep, have to agree it's not a good review, and not overly meaningful IMO. I lost interest right at the start when Lloyd said "a sort of err best airgun of the year err video". He didn't come across as being overly committed to the review. Almost an effort to finish 2016 with something, but...

Re: measuring pellets

Sounds sensible. A method that doesn't deform the pellet during the measuring process, not to mention the accuracy.
