Re: History of AA guns

Thanks to all for the input - fasinating read. I must confess my AA knowledge does not go much before the S310 / Pro Elite. So nice to hear about all these other models. Makes me wonder if, accuracy wise, PCPs have peaked and all the modern twists are small potatoes really.

Re: your dream AA rifle would be-what?

I'm less fussed about new guns (Bullpups) and more that AA keep the quality up on the internals etc of the existing ones. A tuner friend of my has done a detailed study on various internal parts of the S410 that have been changed - and not for the better. I'm not a tuner so cannot remember all the s...

Re: History of AA guns

The old sidelever springers can be very nice to look at, but I think the real deal came along about 1990. It was called the TX200. I'm sure the triggers on the early guns let them down because my 2 sidelever guns are just single stage with a long take up. Cheers mate. Side lever springers...hmmmmm....

History of AA guns

OK, so I've been shooting AAs for about 15years. Before that, tuned HW80s, and Webley Vulcans. I was reading the old John Darling book the other day and I'm sure there was an AA PCP model in there I'd never heard of. So this got me thinking. Does anyone here have a relatively comprehensive list of m...
