Re: S 400 magazine ?
Hi all , geting a new s400 today and just wondering if you can get a magazine to fit it ? I know the 410 has a magazine but can the 400 take one to ? Cheers As Eboswan says, another vote for Rowan, you have to rotate the magazine yourself, you get used to doing it pretty quickly , I have been using...

Re: HFT 500 strip down and setting the firing pot
As you say, normal setting is 57 mm, if you screw it in the hammer will have a harder job opening firing valve, and if you screw it out it will do the opposite ie it will be easier for hammer to open the firing valve, I would clean all the grease and crud out of it and polish the striker rod S340 pu...

Re: S410 CLASSIC
Could be firing valve, filler, gauge seal, or gauge mount bolt seals. As TMP says take moderator off and fit balloon over end of barrel, this will tell you if it's the firing valve, seals on gauge and mount bolt I would replace anyway, if you can get another balloon over the filler (not always easy)...

Re: s400 and regulators
Keep an eye on the higher 11.9ftlb it may creep up as the rifle beds in/leads up. Thanks for the heads up!, it was 11.09 though not 11.90 so that's really only about 11.1.... isn't it? I'm pretty sure its nearer 11.1? I hope its nearer 11.1! That looks fine to me, I like mine about 773fps at that s...

Re: s400 and regulators
Thanks Rodger!, I'm pretty mechanically minded (mechanic by trade) and have customised and regularly rebuild fiddle and tweak my other rifle and pistol but I am going to wait till the years warranty runs out before I do anything to it so I'm just doing plenty of research and building an info stash ...

Re: s400 and regulators
Thanks for the advice! Given my circumstances I don't fancy drilling a hole in my brand new s400 so the altaros reg would probably suit me better, does anyone have any experience with the altaros version please? As yours is brand new you will have to remove all the antitamper measures that A/A put ...

Re: s400 and regulators
Also I think I would let it run in for a bit before deciding to go the Regulator route as it does entail drilling a hole in your nice new cylinder. Not if you use an Altaros reg, no need to drill your cylinder for one of these, so you can go back and take it out if not happy later, or put it in ano...

cyclopse wrote:Will an S510 Carbine action fit into an S400 Carbine stock?
As BBF says, sure will, S400/S410/S510 all use the same stock, and it will also fit MPR & Ultimate sporter.Rog
