Un-molested TX's
Are there any left in the U.K.? I have been reading all the work done by guys over on the Airgunforum Co. U.K. and it's amazing. And the TX played a big part in this with it's ease of tinkering design. I've got to get the nerve to try some stuff on one of my guns. I still have to wonder when they'll...

Re: MHR's Freddie
Still can't figure out how I'm this old(56) and only feel in my twenties. That's in mind, not body. The body is more in tune with my true age, but I think I have another 40 or 50 years left.

Revolutionary War
I was talking to an African American friend Saturday. I told him that I thought some of the U.K. folks on the airgun forums were not so fond of Americans. We concluded it must have it's roots in the late war. He then asked me if I was still mad about the U.S. Civil war. My answer was a definite yes,...

funny rabbit story
My 7th graders school was robbed of it's rabbits and chickens(agriculture department). She was upset and a classmate offered a free rabbit. I built a nice cage and the beast arrived. A New Zealand in white with the reds eyes. I promptly named him Caerbanog after the movie star rabbit. My daughter en...

Re: FX guns, I`d said it before!
Considering the number of models that FX have you would think that you would see more of them about. Very few are used in FT/HFT and I don't see many in use at my club. They appear to have nailed their colours to the mast with the "Smooth twist" barrel but that has a poor reputation in .1...

I saw this on another forum. A guy picks up loads of golf balls at his local course and stuffs his pockets full. He then gets on the bus and sits by a blonde women. She keeps staring at his bulging pockets, so he says" It's golf balls". She looked real puzzled for a minute and then asked i...

Re: Junk mail.
Saw a guy over here that welcomed and tried hard to get on all the mailing lists he could. He had a wood burning heater and he heated his home with the junk mail.

Re: whats the lowest deviation on your springer
One of the biggest attractions of the TX/PS line is the ease of takedown. The break barrel HW is a bit of a pain and there's always the chance of nicking the piston seal on a slot or hole even when you think you've deburred them. All my TX's run around a 10 fps spread in 10 shots from the tin. I hav...

Another dining story
Guitarist Joe Walsh once went to Jackson Browne's for dinner. When he got to the door there was a dog standing there. He rang and Jackson let him in and the dog entered as well. The dog sat in a chair at the table and ate his fill. Joe thought it a bit strange, but he didn't want to offend Jackson. ...
