Falcon 4x18x44 FFP arrived yesterday and zeroed in today. Very impressed. Optics very clear. Can't say I can notice extra weight. With medium hawķe mounts front bell clears by about 3mm. Early days but a lot of scope for £199. Will be field testing on greys in the morning. Update - 2 shots , 2 heads...

I have noticed the scopes advertised with the name Falcon and others as Falcon Menace.
Are they different ?
Is the glass on the 4x18 significantly better ?

Falcon Menace

I am very interested in the Falcon 4x14x44 FFP.
I noted that a few members on here have them.
Which reticle would you recommend?
And are you still impressed?

Hawke gone bad.

My Hawke 6x24x50 threw a wobbler today with mad flyers and zero shift.
Taking it back tomorrow.
Are the Hawke after sales Okay to deal with?

I've given up adjusting mine. It's as good as I can get it but dissapointing.
It's an old one so probably need some knew innards.
Nevertheless still a tack driver.

After trying different pellets I found mine to be a tack driver with .22 JSB Express. Every weekend I would check the zero and sometimes there would be shift in vertical POI. About +/- 4 clicks which was a bit annoying to say the least. Took the plunge and free floated the barrel which consisted of ...

To add insult to injury the aftermarket bolt broke when 're zeroing. Luckily kept old one.
