You need new bottom sear and middle sear with middle sear pin to convert from 2 to 3 sear operation, provided the unit is drilled for the middle sear.

Triggers should be interchangeable for 2 or 3 sear operation. Not all support anti rattle rear spring.

I did notice during testing however, that the power adjustment screw was leaking air around the threat or somewhere during every single shot I took rather then directed it all through the transfer port to the barrel, adjusting the screw all the way in or out it made no difference and would still le...

Even quicker...Leave just one car window open 2 inches. Insert hose pipe and turn on the water. when it gets tothe open window its sure to swim out. :D

you could ask Air Arms using the serial number. Target versions start off with a muzzle piece with dovetail rail and usually a gauge in the cylinder end, but that is not definitive.

Missing or broken breech seal (see if it blows off a rizzla paper)
Dirty or oily striker hammer or housing
Broken hammer spring
Dirty worn or damaged firing valve but apparently less likely in these guns.

OR - its a target version

Repeatably strange!
Strangely repeatable.
A pressure dependant intermittent fault and I assume about the same pressure both times.
Any faults in the hammer or trigger would surely occur randomly across the pressure range.
Has to be the firing valve??
