Re: Air Arms S400 Mrp-Ft

As Peter said, the A/A cylinders aren't perfect, I usually give them a hone, I've been caught out before, with air leaking past a seal. Rog

Re: TDR leak ??

Hi Darrin, sorry to hear that you have a problem with your TDR, if I was near to you, I would have sorted it for you but unfortunately, I'm not, but as others have said they are very easy rifles to work on, I see you have an FAC so am thinking the antitamper isn't there, or if it's an older one migh...

Re: Air Arms S400 Mrp-Ft

You will get a lot of devided opinions on whether to reg or not, I've fitted a couple (Altaros) and to be honest they have been fine, I like the Altaros, as there is no drilling of the cylinder, so if your not happy with the result, you've not done anything that's not sortable, Tony might be able to...

Re: Air Arms S400 Mrp-Ft

Hi Rich, I don't have an MPR, but I do have an S400 pretty much same rifle, I use AADF 8. 4 gn and sweet spot is about 160/165 down to about 100bar with not to much variation, I would be looking for 50/60 shots before topping up, and think that's reasonable for this rifle, my S400 is a carbine and a...

Re: Shooting range and rabbits

Soon there'll be 'nuff lead in them berms to start mining! ;) Good to hear the TDR is doing the job. My rabbit "problem" has almost gone away.... some disease (not Mixy) has decimated the population. Of course, the few that are left are still digging holes in all the wrong places. :x But I'm seeing...

Re: Shooting range and rabbits

Hi Tony, the range that the rabbits frequent has never been cleaned/de-leaded in the last Sixty years of use, there are no catchers and bullets are allowed to go straight into the earth berm, which is the reason l won't eat or sell them. By the way, the TDR is doing a very good job of clearing the r...

Re: Shooting range and rabbits

I shoot rabbits very close to a .22 lr target range, now I don't eat or sell the rabbits from here, because of worries about lead contamination of the land, and how this might effect the meat, just wondering if I'm being over cautious? Any thoughts appreciated cheer's Rog Yes,no offence rog your 71...
