Had a decent weather day today, the barrel doesn't seem to be bent. I used fine emery as suggested and this seems to have done the trick! Lesson for the future I guess is NOT to over tighten the grub screw Thankyou!

As for the odd flier.you say that you have knocked the rifle so have you checked the barrel band is not loose.

I did check the barrel band, it didn't make any difference, very confused!

I've only shot it over close distances since the issue started, it seems fine for that. I need to try it properly but the weather has been so poor, waiting for a still day is like waiting for MPs to stop being crooks....................
