Re: Chrono check.

Exactly the experience of myself and many others, power drops in warm / hot temperatures (seal expansion) and increases in cooler / cold temps (seal contraction). Adding / subtracting washers and even weighed summer / winter pellets = competition circuit fixes. Or just go with an o-ring seal....

Re: Chrono check.

The usual culprit is the piston seal... it's a problem that all FT springer shooters encounter especially in more southern Eu countries / regions where we have a very significant seasonal & daily temp range. Having thoroughly tested (along with many others) a very broad selection of classic parachut...

Re: AADF pellet sizes

Just be aware that the sizes labeled (4.51 / 4.52 etc) in reality do not in any measurable way relate to the actual sizes in said tin!. Be that maximum size, minimum size, spread of sizes or proportion of a specific size!. I am not alone in having spent time on the analysis and all whom have done so...

Re: Forest fires in France

Thank you very much for the kind concern, it is very much appreciated. Happily we are a long way from the fires, which thankfully now seem to be contained. We leave here late August and our new home is in the Limousin region. The hectare of gardens may just prove sufficient for a French AAOC meet ba...

Piece of wet & dry abrasive paper, a fiat surface, a little oil for lubricating and rub / rotate the spring end until mirror polished to your satisfaction.

Well yes, it clears up the point of comprehension in question but, not the gratuitous offence to my good person and from a fellow Scot be damned!!!! Re: Question on trigger.

Hi John For an air rifle the AA CD trigger unit is generally considered to be one of the best, however they certainly benefit from being properly set up, when so done one very rarely hears of complaints. Getting a crisp (breaking glass) second stage is certainly attainable. Standard procedure is: Fl...

Re: TX200HC Front Sight

I saw one not long ago being used for 10m comp shooting in Spain, custom made in aluminum, slides on (aka a barrel weight) and secured with a grub screw/s. He had a diopter type on the rear, have never seen one advertised "off the shelf" but, a rather simple engineering task.
