Re: How light can you go with the piston?
Ok it's all about what you want to achieve with the modifications. Can I just say from where I am coming to ask the question. Firstly I purchased the Pro-sport in .22 cal on a wim it looked to good to be left in the gun store it had to be in my hands. Form the get-go I was not happy with the trigger...

Re: How light can you go with the piston?
my piston weighs 176g inclusive of latchrod. this is 24.8% lighter than the std piston i had. not too sure how light you could go, but too much will result in piston bounce. there are also other factors involved, transfer port dimensions, weight of pellet, pellet composition, the list is in all like...

How light can you go with the piston?
I know you will lose power if you reduce the weight of the piston considerably but by how much? Making a piston from Titanium retaining a steel latch rod you should see a weight saving of about 95 grams which is a saving of about 36% on the standard set up and further savings can be made by replacin...

On stripping I found that the breach seal was not in the best of condition with small slivers of the se...

When the senior design engineer of Honda Motorcycles died he went to Heaven. At the pearly gates St Peter said to him that he had been a very important person during his time on earth and that he could if he wanted spend some time with God himself. Just wanting to mull over design concepts he accept...

Re: Hi all NEW MEMBER
sss 360 Thanks police are dealing with it, I am not wanting to publish the serial numbers as it has been suggested not to (no tangible reason given). I have local dealers looking out for them in case they try to sell them to a shop but I suspect they will not for the traceability. Brighter note emai...

Hi all NEW MEMBER
Hi I am new to this site having purchased my first Air Arms rifle. I have a .22 Pro-Sport with a walnut stock and it shoots just nice (that's an under statement). I have been shooting for some time (many years) including air weapons, rim fire, and full bore until the change in the law banning pistol...
