Re: Tin Bum Tuning - Short Stroke fitting.

If you can't get the power up , chances are your comp tube end plug is leaking, it may even be loose , very common fault take it out and re seal with thread lock so you can eliminate it .

Re: mk1 detent/barrel weight

Why not re barrel it, or get it straightened profesionaly, don't have a go yourself as you can mess it up beyond redemption , used to work ion a toolroom and one of the blokes on the external grinding was mustard at straightening things after heat treatment , ( you need centres a dti and a press )

Re: Piston rod not latching.

If the latch rod latches in the trigger off the rifle, Build the action minus the spring ,see if it cocks if not, make sure your guides aren't coming together ( have you put a washer behind the guide ) or maybe your pre load washer is too big on diameter and wont fit in your piston ( or the bore of ...

Re: How to make my TX shoot like I want

You still haven't tried , the reduced comp tube guns , John buds 22mm, led me to build 21mm, its not about losing the skirt , its about getting the piston weight light enough, losing the skirt is a convenient way to lose some weight, but can throw up other problems in some cases .

Re: TX detent, or, why the PS has an edge

I set my transfer port length , so the comp tube is against it ( breech seals compressed) when the latch rod detent is home , this ensures consistency.

Re: ProSport .177 tuning

LESS refined than the HW 's , I find that surprising . I find all the aa springers more refined , the HW's are easier to shoot accurately as standard , but in my opinion a a lot less refined .

Re: Trigger screws on TX200

Its definitely an improvement, the second stage stop is more definite, and then a very light release, before the mod I found if I had the second stage as light as I like occasionally I would accidentally pull through the first stage , that doesn't happen now .

Alice 50th party 052 (640x480).jpg Mr Poole , make life easier for yourself , by filling the pivot hole with an ally plug then re drill the pivot as close as is possible without breaking into the trigger adjusting screws then file some clearance behind the new hole , going to attempt to put a pictu...
