Re: Aa s400 not accurate anymore?

11ftlb to 11.18ftlb with average about 11.15 but it does through a few seeker shots every now and then. It's as clean as a whistle now and I just slightly unscrewed the pot a millimetres difference.

Re: Aa s400 not accurate anymore?

Just put the gun through the crono before stripping. Let's just say I'm glad I have not been out hunting. Let's just say its double digits the wrong way. Is this normal?

Re: Aa s400 not accurate anymore?

Of course not James, I know exactly what you mean, that's why I had the garden table and wife's cushion out lol.
Got a day off today so going to strip and clean the gun and my local gun dealer is selling his crono for 20 notes which is a bit of a touch.

Re: Aa s400 not accurate anymore?

How very dare you James lol,

To be fare I have an 180 foot garden and been shooting all week and on a rest and can see that I'm not pulling the gun even with the tight trigger. Though I'm not as good as I used to be my groups should be a lot tighter than they are.

Re: New to the site no air rifles.

Thanks for the welcome,

I'm from London originally Kevin but have moved to sunny sussex and loving the countryside and sea. Though born a Londoner I think I was made for the country.

Re: Aa s400 not accurate anymore?

Sorry no I'm using the jsb exact as read there quite good. I did try the new accupell hft but they feel like a tin mix and shoot terrible not like the old accubells that seemed to group very tight.

Re: Aa s400 not accurate anymore?

Arh thanks guys, that's what I was hoping to hear, it's had a barrel clean last night and this even I started fire some shots after posting. Already that seems to be more consistent but still the groupings can wonder a bit. Think I'll do a strip down and polish as you said and I'll do the trigger to...

New to the site no air rifles.

Been hunting all my life, mainly falconry now but have always hunted air rifles along with mates 22 rimmies and the odd 12 and 20 bore. Much prefer the deadly silent approach. Started off with dads webley junior then moved on to 90k gas ram had two but yearned for a fenman. But boaght an evolution w...

Re: S400 pellet on pellet groupings fact or fiction ?

When my gun was new I was shooting 5mm ragged holes at 30 yards and raggide 5 pence at 50 yards in nil wind. Though said gun doesn't seem up to the task anymore as it's been a bit neglected.
