Many thanks for all the info, I've got hold of a chrono so will be able to test for consistency, then take it from there.
HW 98
My HW 98 springer has started to shoot very erratically. Even from a soft rest the pellets are going all over the place. Sometimes left then a couple of inches right or high. It used to be very accurate. I have tightened all the screws, cleaned the barrel and even fitted a different scope to no avai...

Many thanks everyone for the advice and info. I have contacted The Airgun Doctor and await a reply. I think this is the way forward as it seems a bit complicated to get the set up just right.

I can borrow a chrono from my club. I am away next week but could get it on my return. I have taken a look at the Lane website, it doesn't look too hard to adjust. any advice about doing it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the replies so far.

Sorry, forgot to mention it is .177 Not worried about number of shots so much as not hitting 50 yards.

Ultimate Sporter
I have just had my Ultimate Sporter fitted with a Lane Regulator. It still only fires 70 shots, the same as before regulator. It is very inconstant but this could be down to pellet selection. Hovever it will not hit a target at 50 yards, so not much good as a target rifle. Not getting much response ...
MPR
When refitting air tube to rifle all the air escapes, it is cocked. Is this a broken seal and is it easy to fit.
