Re: scopes and wearing glasses

For HFT there is a ruling that states that you have to keep wearing/not wearing your glasses from peg 1, just like leaving the scope setup alone, as there is an advantage from taking glasses off for shorter shots as there is less blur. I wear distance glasses to shoot and look past/over to load the ...

Re: scopes and wearing glasses

The subject of glasses got a bit twitchy a few years ago when it was discovered that for HFT, where you set your scope up for the whole course and then have to leave it alone after shot 1, with glasses on/off, the focus changed and gave an advantage. Personally, I've always shot with my distance gla...

Re: 1963malc MHR

Thanks very much guys. Wow! Stuff has changed a bit on here, hasn't it? I've been a tad preoccupied since just before Christmas and I'm trying to cope with having a foot operation, Osteoarthritis in my knee and moving house, again shortly. It's all go, I tell you. A birthday is a welcome distraction.

I haven't tried the AADF Express personally but they are gaining in popularity despite being a bit pricey.

Thanks Tim. I'll look the express up.

Pellet help please.

Mosquitoes, pellets, not the insects. I had many many tins of these when I was shooting HFT and the batch that I had were brilliant for the job. I've just checked supplies, twice, and I'm down to my last 20 pellets (2 weeks worth)! I think they were discontinued, weren't they? I've realised that whe...

Re: Was it something I said?

Hi Raj, still shooting pigeons, grey squirrels and the odd rabbit with the S400 but only from the bedroom window at my mum's house. The 12G went before you had the gun safe, which was a pity, as it might have come in handy with the divorce from the ex. Hi Julian, thank you for the warm welcome back....
