Re: Air Arms S510 TDR
Yes it is not helped by the manual for the TDR R stating: "The filling pressure of the S510 R TDR high power is 250 bar (3626psi)" Mine is a sub-12ft.lb. model not the XS and on first reading I thought that the 250 bar was for the 'high power' - i.e. XS version. It would appear all regulated ve...

TbT "short stroke" piston nose extension for PS or Tx200 HC
Tried once but I then changed out my entire internals for a Tony Leach short skirt piston and comp tube assembly, so surplus to requirements. Probably had 10 shots on it, so as good as new. Having removed the AA seal, this fits on the then exposed dovetail end and is secured with three recessed Alle...

Re: Best Fittings fill probe 'upgrade' for S410/510 etc.
Great, thanks.
Not having one to actually put my hands on, is it (after emptying cyl) simply unscrew original and replace with BF valve/quick-fit coupling?
Looks like AA dust cap still goes on original cylinder thread afterwards?

Best Fittings fill probe 'upgrade' for S410/510 etc.
I see Best Fittings offer an 'upgrade' for the existing T-bar fill adaptor on the S510 (and other similar cylinders). It appears to provide a 'standard' quick fill male connector as opposed to the proprietary AA one, so basically making for a more common fill connector. It appears that it includes a...

Re: Pro sport shot grouping issue???
Adding that a couple of months on, I seem to be down to around 1/4" groups, especially with sized pellets. However, I do note the hold sensitivity. Moving fore end support by 2" (just to demonstrate the point) moves group by 1/2" at least, although grouping remains 1/4". I understand the Tony Leach ...

Re: New Pro-Sport .22 seems low-powered
So this is where I ended up. New spring showed that old one had acquired 10mm of permanent set. Cleaned, reassembled with original TbT kit and with three delrin preload washers it was bang on 12fpe. Risk of staying too hot, and that fpe unnecessary for me, so one out and settled at 11.3-ish. The rea...

Re: TbT Short stroke kit Prosport .177
Tried it now and definitely not for me. Increased cocking effort (as expected) wan't an issue but it felt pretty obvious that this was mechanically an uncomfortable level of compression, and even more so when preloaded to get back to 10-11 range. It didn't feel particularly 'nice' to shoot either - ...

Re: pellet trap/paper target holder.
I started with a cheapish metal trumpet and as you say the metal deflector flap makes quite a ring. Luckily it was so rubbish that I shot through it pretty quickly! A replacement in 3mm steel from Target Air is much quieter, and will last forever. Also added Dynamat to it to deaden the sound - made ...

Re: TbT Short stroke kit Prosport .177
Yes already did and he was outstandingly helpful. He fairly pointed out that the SS will increase cocking effort, which is not a concern for me.
