I finally got round to having another look last night and it is definitely metal.
So now a bit puzzled by where it could have come from, but on the plus side it is holding air nicely.

Spoke to julian yesterday evening and he has suggested the collar looking bit my actually be a ring of old loctite presumably from when i removed the barrel. Thinking about it now i think he might be spot on, maybe because its old it looks like metal. So will have a look a bit later. Thanks for the ...

No didn’t remove the pot.
I removed the barrel and the barrier seal carrier. What is the procedure for refitting the barrel seal carrier? Do I need to loctite it to the barrel and loctite the carrier into the action?
I only took the seal carrier out to find the seals that didn’t exist.

There was 2 x 650A Orings in the kit but not a 650 so used one for the loading bolt.
At the moment i can't seem to be able to upload a photo of the collar

Hi all, Just registered to the forum and require a bit of assistance if possible. I had my first s410 carbine new approx 15 year ago and just used it for shooting bunnies etc. Just literally use to fill it and shoot it, never cleaned it, serviced it or anything and eventually sold it about 8 years a...
