Re: What Stock Finish
I put eight coats of Royal London oil on the stock. Rubbing it in with ultra fine sanding pads. The finish sheens and shimmers changing with the light. Really a beautiful piece of wood. Next I will let this cure for a couple weeks. Then sand it smooth again and use tru-oil to fill the pours and give...

Re: Tx200 mk 3 field target
I also don't like a lot of magnification. As a general rule if the target is fifteen yards I turn the magnification to fifteen. My reasoning for this scope was the turrets are quick to adjust. On my old scope of I changed the settings it would take a shot or two before it settled. This scope will al...

Re: What Stock Finish
I have a brand new Walnut TX200. Should I seal the stock? I read Royal London oil is good.
http://www.airrifleheadquarters.com/cat ... /42975.htm. I have lots of experence with tru-oil. I want to protect the finish. I don't want to make it shiney

Re: Tx200 mk 3 field target
Thanks The amazing thing is it keeps getting more accurate. I pulled out last years rifle to test it over the chronograph. I was able to hold it better than before and put up a nice 1/4 inch group at 14 yards. Then using the same pellets I shot the TX. I put seven shots shots inside a hole that meas...
