Re: Bolt Bush/collar (not sure of name) is loose

Hi, the brass bush is attached to the barrel using a glue(?) in the factory. On my old anti tamper s410 it also came loose. The barrel should be removed and the bush stuck back onto the barrel. I used loctite and up to now after 3yrs it hasn't moved. A few things to bear in mind : - Clean the inside...

Re: Hello from across the pond

Hello John and welcome. I cured the clipping on 2 s510's and posted my method. The info should apply to s410's. Here's the link: - http://www.airarmsownersclub.com/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=5706 Be aware the barrel must not move within the shroud. If it does you most likely have a problem with the fluted...

Re: S410 clipping issues

John, if you copy the link below you may find a similar air rifle to yours. Https://www.pyramydair.com/manuals I'm beginning to think someone has fitted a non standard Air Arms moderator that has a different method of fitting to the shroud so have fitted the plastic part into the shroud to accommoda...

Re: S410 clipping issues

John,
a thought I have, use a drill bit of the correct size and slide it through the moderator. This will check that there are no damaged baffles inside the moderator. It should slide through without any resistance.

Re: S410 clipping issues

Hi John,
this is what I have. I'm sure it will provide what you need. A google should bring it up, or something similar.

Re: S410 clipping issues

Hi John, I cured clipping on 2 s510's. Perhaps the link below on how I did it will be of help. Particularly the refitting of the shroud and positioning of the figure of 8 barrel clamp. You can try this without removing the moderator. http://www.airarmsownersclub.com/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=5706 Keith

Re: S510 Classic with bad grouping

Hi Patratel, I've read through the various posts about your problem. Early in your postings you said you glued a washer onto the barrel because it was moving around within the shroud and it was still moving, if I read it correctly. You also had Al fillings showing. The Al spacer needs 2 new 'O' ring...

Pest control and other shooting is allowed

Following questions to the relevant government departments via Sir Geoffrey Clifton-Brown ( see Parliamentary response) the BASC has confirmed shooting is allowed with some restrictions in Wales and Scotland. Here is the BASC link and click on pest control and read the part concerning the part of th...
