Re: Fac vs 12lb

As above, .22 with a similar if not flatter trajectory than a .177 As for hunting distance you can shoot accurately out to 100 yards if you put the practice in and only from a bipod. At 100 yards many fac Air Rifles are still retaining 12ft/lb. Even with a 12ft/lb .177 you can get clean kills out to...

Re: Removed the brass firing pot.

Plus there's more chance of the valve still being open before the pellet exits with the plenum attached. With no plenum there's more force on the valve from the cylinder so it closes a lot quicker enabling a quicker lock time.

Re: .25

I wouldn't bother if I'm honest and best off buying an already setup. 25
May I ask why you would prefer a .25 over a .22?
If you want extra knockdown then just use bisley Magnums in .22

Re: Removed the brass firing pot.

If you have two sets of data, one full string with the pot and one full string without the pot, post it. The only explanation I can come up with for no-pot setup as good as with-pot is if the pellet hasn't left the barrel before the firing valve closes and the pot vent hole is too large. That may b...

Re: .25

There's more than just fitting the barrel, you'll need a .25 probe which will be custom I'm sure and a top block capable of housing a the. 25 probe assembly.

Re: Dialing for elevation.

Rather late in the day, but I got thinking about the original question... I only shoot targets on a range (so far) and generally find that a 25 yd zero allows me to hit the kill zone on drop down targets from 10 - 30 yds without recourse to holdover (S400 in .177). However, if I move onto the 55yd ...

Re: Removed the brass firing pot.

Can I send you an image of a 100 shot string I did using the carbine cylinder on my Mpr-ft.
The results speak for themselves.
