I'm sure the 650 o ring goes on the bolt just in front of the cocking handle.

Why would you like such a specific model?
Have you tried other Air Arms models for hft?
I personally use an Mpr-ft.

Clear o ring grease ?? That may be silicone grease. It must be proper black petroleum based moly grease like Abbey or Bisley. Silicone grease will ruin metal to metal surfaces. I presume you have at least applied moly grease to the bolt and worked it in? It’s a monthly task IMO. Yes Peter I did apply some this evening and it worked a little. Stripped it down a little further to expose the striker rail too, that's still clean and smooth, hammer still shiny and polished. I ...
