QYS was <2cm. I also got some lighter weight .55g QYS to compare to the .62g QYS. ...

Have you tried the Jsb Heavies in .177?

Re: HFT results so far

Then tried without the silencer. Big difference in poi at 50yds. Guess my gun prefers QYS pellets and the neighbours will have to put up with the bark from the HFT. Did the group open up with the moderator or was the POI simply in a different place? A moderator will nearly always change the POI, bu...

A moderator with all the innards taken out and the exit hole opened up to 8mm (for .177) will still soak up half of the noise with minimal disruption. Stick a velcro curler inside even better.
Thanks Pete, I may give this a go in the future if noise becomes a problem.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1fO9Jx7dFCJEF--XdgYQ5XZ_80ykdtkdn/view?usp=drivesdk Did some investigation tonight. HFT 500. Zeroed WITH silencer at 25yds. I tested AA diabolo, JSB exact, QYS, H&N barracuda. Best 2 at 25yds we’re JSB and QYS. Pushed out to 50yds. Little wind unfortunately. Then tri...

Re: New HFT500 owner

Thanks Alan, I’m sure I will have plenty of fun 😆 especially with the weather improving. You’re stock looks great. Not sure I’m gonna go down that route until I’ve exhausted trying the new one. I’ve bought a blade trigger 3D printed jobby which I’ve sanded down to smooth and made be more respectable...

New HFT500 owner

Hi all, Just bought myself a HFT500 the other day. It was an upgrade on my HW100KT .22 which I loved but struggled to get the consistency when target shooting. I’ve had a bit of a play and fiddle and I think it’s going to take time to adjust. A few issues I’ve had so far is the angle of the grip. Th...
